ACCIAC-Sponsored Study Abroad Programs for ACC Undergraduates

China and Vietnam, Summer 2008. Science and Management of Water Resources. This summer program combines an initial week in Miami, Florida with three weeks in China and two weeks in Vietnam. The program provides an excellent balance of coursework, hands-on fieldwork and cultural immersion. Students will trake two 3-credit courses that integrate the natural and social sciences needed to understand the Science and Management of Water Resources. Vietnam, Summer 2008. Construction, Culture, People, and Religion.
Teams of faculty from Virginia Tech and Wake Forest will teach two courses, both with substantial field work. Faculty will be drawn from the departments of Building Construction and Civil and Environment Engineering as well as from sociology, east asian languages, and religion.
